I need a camper shell for hunting season. I found a couple that are the same color but they are for a 2021 silverado. They are leer and are. Will these on my 2021 sierra? I’m getting mixed messages and getting ahold of are customer service is next to impossible. Has anyone tried it or had success before i drive 3 hours to find out it wont fit. Also if anyone has one they want to get rid of near pa let me know. Bonus if its satin steel metallic. Thank you

I’ve had my Leer camper shell with electric lock for the hatch for six months. All was good. Then one day I happen to check the tailgate and it wasn’t locking anymore. Just the glass was locking and unlocking with the factory remote. Took it to my GMC dealer and they undid the wires that were t-tapped in the tailgate lock. The lock and unlock on the tailgate worked again. Everything else was a plug and play harness for the cap. Tried Posi-Taps and had the same results. I’ve heard the drivers side door rocker area has wires to tap into. With that said where did your dealer get the signal for the lock at? Could the module that unlocks the hatch be bad. Going to the Leer dealer this weekend to see what they can find but they say they never had any issues on the K2 trucks.

So I currently have a bakflip MFX4 on my truck...it does ok, but it does leak...more of the issue is that my wife started a new business and in some instances it would be very beneficial to have more room, dare I say a camper shell. No offense to anyone who might have one, but I'm not into the old school multi-level jobs...but I am trying to warm up to the cab-level versions...we just started this process, so I'm not even real sure about pricing and models, etc. I would prefer kind of a sporty look to enhance the look of my truck rather than detract from it... If you could post some pics, model/manf, prices etc, and recommendations, I would certainly appreciate it. really so far I have come across Leer, ARE, Snugtop...but haven't really found much about each of them yet... Thanks in advance.

Hello everybody from sunny Saskat-chewan. I have a 2000 GMC C6500 topkick (former U-hauler) and I would like to lock my fuel tank (60 gal - gasoline | 7.4l V8) away from prying hoses. I'm going to drill and tap the cap, and put in an allen-key set screw but I'd prefer a regular keyed arrangement. Any comments on this topic, preferably with a locking cap solution? The only locking caps I see around have a male thread - my truck requires a cap with female threads. Thanks in advance, Keep On Truckin'!
