hi everyone, ive looked high and low with no luck, so apologies of this is directly cited somewhere. The plastic grooves/housing where the blower motor twists into place under the glove box, are brittle and broken. Therefore, my blower fan will not stay in place. Is that plastic housing or assembly core sold as a stand alone part? Trying to figure out a way to get the blower motor secured without duct tape or something else. thanks!

Recently blower motor began blowing on and off, replaced both motor and resistor. Now it has completely stopped, I feel heat coming from vents and defrost. I can hear a sound in the dashboard like something is happening. Checked all the fuses I think are related, have not replaced FAN CNTRL Relay in underhood fuse box. Saw a youtube video talking about ground wires, wondered if this could be the issue. Would appreciate any help, I'm new to GMC, I've always owned Ford trucks. I have heard from other people 2008 was notorious for electrical issues. Thank you

I have an 04 gmc Sierra Wt with a weird issue. it started when my battery went bad. i use the intermittent pin in the body-12 way-brown in the cab fuse block as an ignition driven accessory. the first thing i noticed was the accessory would only work every now and then. next the blower stopped working, the abs and brake likes came on, all at the same time. after messing with it all day here is the current issue. the abs and brake like come on when the blower speed control it set to any speed other then 0. when set back to 0 the abs and brake lights will turn off. the intermittent pin on the body-12 way-brown has low voltage and cant power my accessory. the constant power pin next to the intermittent pin has full 12 volts. I have checked every fuse and cleaned the ground on the forward driver side and the ground in front of the driver side suspension. I have also added 3 ground wires cab to battery frame to battery block to battery I am at a lose for what to do. Could it be a bad relay?

Hello GM lovers, I’m back again, with hat in hand, asking for help. Recently, I charged my a/c system back into the proper amount of coolant. Now living in the Desert, “cool” air is considered about 80 degrees on a 110 degree day. So all was fine while running the air. One day the blower motor decided it was done working. After schematic searching, I thought I would try the climate control module. That was not the issue. Then I optested the blower motor itself, and voila, it worked, so that lead me to belive it was the resistor. I changed the resistor, and had to rewire the harness, and blew the fuse. Changed the fuse, blower works. Air compressor kicks on, and I have cold freon going into the condensor. However, I am getting 100 degree air out of the vents. Can anyone help? If I have forgotten something that I may not know of (because I may not know of it) please educate me

I have a 2017 Denali and have had since new. I noticed that lately the HVAC blower fan cycles on and off while the truck is turned off, just after driving it. Does anyone know why this is happening. I've noticed that the amp meter is charging more and not dropping down like it used to when the truck is new. I was wondering if the battery is circling the drain and not providing enough amperage. I also noted that after the truck was parked for a couple of weeks, the compass settings on the Navi changed. Thanks in advance for the help.
