I have a tri-axle 5th wheel toy hauler I installed the correct tpms sensors in. going down the road it looses signal sometimes to the rear or center axle wheels. Upon questioning my dealer I was told they only have a range of 23 feet from the back bumper of my truck. 23 feet reaches the front of my center axle tires. I did not find this information on the GMC accessory website when ordering the sensors or in the owners manual. If this is correct it should be disclosed when using the feature as a selling point. has anyone had this issue and found a repeater or anyway to make the system work at a distance of over 23 feet?

I have installed the correct TPMS sensors on my tri-axle 5th wheel toy hauler. The rear wheels, and sometimes the center wheels loose signal. I'm being told by my dealer that they only reach 23 feet from the trucks back bumper. That reaches the front of the tires on my second axle. There was nothing in the literature when I bought the sensors that stated the 23' limit which also makes no sense for truck that can tow 31,000 plus lbs. GM tells me there is no repeater available. That seems strange since I had an aftermarket system (TST) that had a repeater and worked fine. Has anyone had this issue and found a solution?

All sensors on the wheels are transmitting. All tires are @ specifications. Doors locks won't operate with keyless entry. Remote start will not work either. Brought Chilton manual and does not give enough info. Have tried to reprogram but truck does not reconnize sensors. My tire guy used his programming tool and said the sensors are all transmitting. Blown fuse? Please advise. Thanks, Kim
