Last night, I woke up to it raining cats and dogs (I only have cats.) So, I went to check if all my cats were in - my oldest was outside sitting under my truck. Figured I would get him out from under it by starting the truck with my remote. It was late, I was tired, so I pressed the lock button and, then, thought I had held and pressed the start button. Well, instead, I pressed and held the unlock button, unknowingly, and, rolled all my windows down. Again, it was late and I was in a bit of a fog, mentally, so, I just tried it again and got the truck started by pressing the proper button. That doggone cat still wouldn't come out from under the truck so I put on a raincoat and corralled him inside. All was good, right? Well, as I mentioned, I had, unknowingly, rolled down every window. After a morning rain, I went out to do some errands and noticed every window was down and rain had soaked quite a bit of the interior. Fortunately, I have rain guards on all windows so the episode was a bit mitigated but, still, AAAUGGHH! Took an hour to dry everything off, get out a blow dryer and retreat the door surfaces with some 303 protectant to cure the water marks. Keep track of which remote buttons you are pressing, even in a brain fog, during a rainstorm if you're starting your truck via the remote. .
