Currently all the seats are cloth, but have acquired factory oem leather seats from a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 extended cab and a 2005 GMC Yukon. Along with the seats, I also managed to grab the heated seat controls for the driver and passenger side which will be plug and play once the wiring is done. My question is how do I create the wiring for my heated seats to work? I’m not worried about power that’s a simple positive and negative. And where do they plug in at? Also how does the heated seat control interface communicate with the seats to turn them on? I will have no wiring for the heated seats function due to the stock seats being cloth. Would I have to pull a factory wiring harness from a LT package vehicle or can I somehow rig my own wiring together? Thank you! -
Heated / Cooled Seat Retrofit: Seat Memory Bypass Harness by: PGAMBOA Ok folks, as you know, I have recently completed the A45 - Seat Memory Retrofit on my 2016 Silverado LT Truck. During the integration, I learned that the Heated/Cooled - Driver Side Seat will NOT power adjust when it is plugged in as is. In most cases, when these seats are removed, they are power adjusted all the way forward in order to remove the rear torx T50 bolts. This means that it will be very difficult to drive your truck with the seat in its forward position. I now have a harness solution for this! This harness connector to the Power Adjust control panel and will bypass the Seat Memory Module. It will connect directly to all the seat adjust motors. Simply land the power and ground, and plug it in! This will allow you to adjust the seat in any which way you need! Harness is $140 shipped anywhere in the US and will be built to order.
