Hello All, New to this site, just bought a new 2021 Silverado LT Trail Boss a few weeks ago. One of the first things I am doing to this truck is upgrading the few halogen bulbs that GM decided to keep on it. The Rear backup and license plate lights all went super smooth, no issue. But when I went to remove the front blinker bulb from the housing I was faced with a different configuration than what I've seen. The place where you would normally find the circular grip for twisting out the bulb has a small hex head there in place, and it does not look to actually come apart (Please see attached picture). I think that I might have a different blinker than what normally comes with this trim (and I think it may already be LED) but I am unable to find anything online that resembles or mentions this configuration. I am only able to find the typical bulb backing which does not match mine. Does anyone have insight to this or possibly know what kind of blinker I have? I have included a picture of the back of the blinker as well as the light housing itself as I think it too looks slightly different than others I have seen. Thanks in advance!

The first issue is the puddle/domelight's. I first noticed the issue when the puddle lights were flickering when the unlock button was pushed or the door was opened. Also, the interior dome lights would not come on when the door was opened. I've pushed the overhead switch to the on position and sometimes they would flash on quickly and shut off, but most of the time not come on at all. The dome lights come on when the individual buttons are pushed, but not at all with the overhead switch. Anyone know where the fuse is that controls the overhead switch? My second issue is with the left turn signal. On the DIC I got a turn indicator failure for the left rear. The indications are with the blinker activation, the mirror/dash blinker lights will flash normal for about three seconds and then pulse quickly, followed by DIC message. *edit* Brake lights (left) also done activate. My first action was replacing the bulbs, however that did not fix the problem. When I returned home, I troubleshot the bulbs by placing the lighting switch from auto to running lights and the lights came on, so I know the bulbs harness and wiring are working perfectly fine. I have checked the fuses in the engine compartment, number 14 I believe which is labeled trailer stop/left turn I believe. Any ideas on this issue? I would like to troubleshoot the issues prior to taking it to the dealer under warranty 30 mins away.

I have a issue with my Left blinker. Front outside and Rear flashes very fast on left turn signal, but the front inner just stays steady. All fuses are good. Is it a grounding issue, or a flasher module needs to be replaced? Thanks for any good input. DK

Hi I bought a used 2005 Sierra just over a year ago. I understand my question is a bit wordy lol(just tryin to give a full picture of the issue) please read through. It's had annoying but minor electrical issues from day one. But now it's causing Inspection failure. When no running or headlights are on, the directional work perfectly. For the last 6 month's, when the lights are on, even without turning the signal on, the left(and only the left) signal stays solid. And 2 or 3 of the Less on the side mirror stay out. The right side still works fine. I've changed the signal lever and the module with no change. I might add, one of the original issues were when the lights were off the After market radio will be just static.. Turn the lights on and the radio works fine(hoping that helps diagnosis). I'm a carpenter so no truck = no work Thanks all for any suggestions Roger
