Ok, so I want to replace my bcm because it's been messing with my electricals. The door chimes have been coming on randomly and i have dash lights and headlights on after key is off. I am pretty sure it's the bcm. Would it be ok if I were to swap a used one? I know it has to be flashed. What kind of things would I need to look for in a used one? Does the colored block on the part matter?

I did not simply load the parts Canon. I went through an official diagnosis and parts were replaced accordingly. It runs fine but we have the occasional intermittent long exaggerated crank after running for a little while and it getting to operating temperature. I switched out the blend door actuator under the drivers side (it controls the different modes/vents). The old blend door actuator was making a clicking noise, so I decided to install a new part and when I did clicking noise was gone, but now I couldn’t switch to different vents/modes. When I first started it up the actuator went through all the different vents/mode, but then when it got to defrost it just stayed there. I thought the actuator was bad, so I got another one, but the same thing happened again. What could be the problem?
