  1. Hey Everyone- I have a 2022 AT4 (5700mi) and its it has a shudder/hesitation during steady and/or light throttle acceleration between 25 and 70 MPH. Anyone else experiencing this or has and got it "fixed". Reproduced it for a ride along with the dealer, but need to figure out a plan or approach to fix this. They have mentioned maybe a fuel injector, maybe a new transmission.... Thoughts? Recommendations? Also, what site does everyone use to search for TSB's?
  2. I have a 2019 GMC Sierra 6.2L Denali, 10 speed transmission, with 36K miles on the truck. I have recently noticed when the truck decelerates more than 20 mph, and then if I accelerate, I hear a single bang sound coming from the transmission as soon as I start to accelerate. It is like the transmission is not prepared to go into the lower gear and jams itself into gear to accelerate. There is no delay in the acceleration that I can tell, but it is a noticeable bank or thud sound of metal on metal. Once it is in gear, it accelerates as normal, and there are no other sounds. This will only happen after the truck has warmed up 10+ min and does not happen if I decelerate less than 18-20 mph. It does not happen as often if I use the brakes to slow down. Also if I come to a complete stop it does not happen and will only happen if the truck is already in motion above 10mph or so. I took it to the local GM dealer yesterday, and they said they were not familiar with the problem, but it is definitely not right. The dealer talked with GM tech support, and GM said they have heard of the problem but did not have a solution. GM said to take out the transmission and inspect for any visual issues. If no visual issues could be found, then they would replace the transmission. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any advice moving forward? Side note- This truck was one of the first sold in our area of the 2019 body styles. I got it in august of 2018. It had the leaking back window issue, and they replaced the window after a 2-3 month delay getting the part in and trying to fix it with sealant. Thank you in advance for your help.
  3. Long time no see, today for my first oil change I brought up the fact that my truck sometimes shifts hard coming to a stop. Always the 2-1 shift. This was the response... the service advisor said “there is a lawsuit in the states”.. dunno if that’s true? Looking for opinions, will this ever go away?!
  4. Just curious if anyone has any experience with an after market cold air intake system on a 5.3l Trail Boss. Worth it? I was told by my dealership service department that an aftermarket brand would not void my warranty.
  5. 8070 miles So as I take off from a stop sign the truck seems to be lugging and I guess you’d call it bucking. If I hard accelerate it goes away. It’s only at low rpm. It’s at the dealer now for three days and they tell me they are talking to Gm engineers and truck could be there for a week or two minimum! Obviously after spending 90k$ Not what I want to hear. They’ve never had this problem before. I did need to put it in four wheel drive for a few min to get out of some loose sand on construction site. But put it back in 2 wheel with no problem. Anyone have this problem. Of course I’m also supposed to be going on a 1500 mile trip in ten days. Not feeling real comfortable with this truck now!! Please help!!!
  6. Do any of you have a 10 speed transmission in your truck? Your opinion?
  7. I think everyone of us with the 8 speed transmission have the clunking and jerk. Does the 10 speed have any of these problems? I don’t plan to ever own another 8 speed. The last 2 did the same even though the newer one was supposedly to be free of that problem. It’s embarrassing when a passenger thinks he won’t get home!
