a_salazar08 13 Posted March 20, 2018 Does anyone know that the original part number is or have a suggestion for replacement? I think it might have been a plastic fastener but I'm not sure. Mine fell off.. Quote Link to comment

I had the bolt/nut sitting in my truck, for just such an occasion, and since it was MIA, I replaced it that day. Quote Link to comment

When I originally read your comment, I thought "It's painted, it won't rust." Gassed up today, on the way to work, GUESS WHAT?!! Bolt head has a little bit of rust on it. Got a new "idea" that I'm going to execute in the next couple days. Edited April 3, 2018 by Ravenkeeper Quote Link to comment
Ravenkeeper 538 Posted October 26, 2018 Bought my new '18, last month, they are still using plastic there. Guess what mod I'll be making soon? Going to find a better, not prone to rust solution. Quote Link to comment
