This is my lifted '84. Small block 400 with a cam and oversized valves, 6" suspension, 2"body lift, TH350, 3.73s with posi, Edelbrock 750 CFM Performer 4bbl., 39" Mickey Thompson tires (I have them still but am running 35" Hankook RT 03 M/Ts since I used my '84 until recently to travel to college and back and from Pittsburgh to Erie). I can get 9.5mpg at 65-70mph on the highway after my valve job and new head gaskets. I don't want to talk about around town mileage since I like to hear it make noise! I love this truck and hope I never have to get rid of it. The looks and compliments are worth all the hard work!
