On the annual Kogod Made In America Auto Index the Toyota Tundra is ranked higher than the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Even with a 6% penalty for not being a "U.S. Company" the Toyota's score of 76 beats the 72.5 the Silverado and Sierra earn. The Tundra is built in Texas.

The annual list gives automakers points for being the location in which they are built, where the parts originate from, where the company is headquartered, and other related factors. General Motors dominates the top rankings. The Colorado and Canyon are the top-rated pickups and are tied for second place on the list overall.
