Autoweek tests an unusual Chevy Colorado

Have you ever noticed that most car and truck reviews are of the loaded version of the vehicle? We have. The staff of GM-trucks.com are fortunate to be served by the best media test fleet management company in the U.S. What tends to be put into that fleet by the automakers are the best and most expensive versions of the vehicles they make. There is some justification for it. A writer can only review the Nav and other goodies if they are in the vehicle. However, it can provide a skewed image of the vehicle, particularly if it is offered in a much more basic configuration.

That is what we loved about Autoweek's review yesterday of the 2015 Chevy Silverado work truck. The team at Autoweek and writer Kara Snow tested a $23,415 version of the Colorado. Yes, the 4-cylinder, 2WD, manual extended cab with pretty much noting for options. Autoweek isn't afraid to call out the Colorado on its drawbacks, particularly noting some difficulty with the manual transmission.

The review is comprehensive. You can read it in full at this link.
