How many times have you seen a truck towing a trailer or hauling a heavy load and the rear-end of the truck is fully compressed onto its suspension stops? Self-leveling systems can prevent this and keep a vehicle more stable while towing. Air Lift has just introduced its new SmartAir II system.

The system works with air bags to detect when a vehicle is not level and to bring it back to level. The dual path system can even regulate left and right springs independently. The kit comes with a pre-assembled wiring harness, electronic sensor system, compressor and an illustrated instruction manual for easy installation. The system doesn't work with all suspensions, so check with the company to see if it will work with your truck.

We recently reviewed two AirLift's products, the RideControl and WirelessOne. The new Smart Air II is an intelligent step up that will manage air pressure for you.

Do you use an air suspension while towing?
