This past weekend, Chevrolet & Hall Racing debuted the all-new Silverado ZR2 Race Truck at the King Shocks Laughlin Desert Classic.
The Laughlin Desert Classic is part of the “Best In The Desert” Race series. It’s the same race series that Hall Racing has been a part of for the past few years and where the Silverado ZR2 Race Truck has been developed under the guise of “going racing”.
Chevrolet used the brutal off-road racing series to further validate Silverado ZR2 features, including the frame, 6.2L V8 engine, 10-speed automatic, transfer case, front and rear differential, front skid plate, and transfer case skid plates.
The Silverado ZR2 race truck was driven/navigated this weekend by Chad Hall, Chris Woo, Nick Holmer, and Waqas Shafi. The truck came in first for its class and 12th in its group.
