The 2024 Cadillac Escalade interior will be equipped with a massive gauge cluster & infotainment screen reminiscent of the Celestiq that stretches pillar-to-pillar.
GM-Trucks.com has confirmed that the Escalade will come with a massive pillar-to-pillar infotainment screen next year. The screen will measure 57 inches and encompass a 12,288 X 1560 pixel screen resolution. The RPO for the new “infotainment” system family will be “URX.”
The Escalade will also feature General Motors “Virtual Cockpit” system, developed with Qualcomm, which includes support for in-vehicle subscriptions, 5G connectivity, vehicle customization, and vehicle personalization. Also expect the 2024 Escalde to feature GM’s “Ultra Cruise”, the next generation of Super Cruise.
The screen will debut with a new interior design on the 2024 Escalade and will mimic the interior of the Cadillac Celestiq.
The Celestiq is Cadillac’s super exclusive and extremely limited all-electric luxury car intended to compete with the likes of Rolls-Royce. The Celestiq will have a price tag north of a quarter million dollars. The 2024 Escalade is expected to cost north of $100,000.
GM-Trucks.com can also confirm that the Escalade-V will persist into the 2024 model year and gain this new interior-encompassing upgrade. It’s unknown if the forthcoming electric Escalade IQ will share the same interior as the internal combustion engine Escalade.
As of the date this article was first published (June 2023), approximately 30 pre-production 2024 Escadade had been built. Expect the refreshed Escalade, Escalade IQ, and their new interior to debut later this summer or early this fall.
