• MIL illuminated
• Engine stalling
Some technicians may find one or more of the following DTCs set in the Engine Control
Module (ECM):
• P0606
• P060C
• P2463
• P2459
Some technicians may also find for a vehicle that stalled with P060C, additional codes:
• P0090
• P0092
• P00C9
• P12A6
• P2294
• P2296
Duramax Stalling Issue – The cause
This engine stalling and check engine light issue is caused by a software anomaly in the ECM and TSM.

This issue is detailed in Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 23-NA-152. If you think you have this specific issue, please visit your dealer to have your truck serviced.
Your dealership will reprogram your ECM/TSM (Engine Control Module / Transmission Control Module) with new software to eliminate the stalling and check engine light. The tech will also perform a barometric pressure reset. This fix should be covered under warranty.
