UPF48R AC Delco oil filter wrench

So last yr I switched from the PF48 blue filters to the higher grade black version. My old filter wrench (cup style) didn't fit. Thanks to Rich he mentioned snap on had one to fit. In case your looking for one it is

 

FW7614A and it is only $9.25. Fits great

Do you notice any changes (startup sounds, oil psi at operating temp., etc) with the Ultra?

 

Can you compare the ultraguard to the ecore and the classic.

 

I am using the PF46. I think they quit making them and are now making the PF46E.

I don't really notice any difference. I do know on my truck the oil analysis comes back better with the ultraguard. The sheer weight of the filter comparing the two is like night and day. The ultra version is much more beefy and doesn't feel like paper.
