New tires, 295/60/20 Toyo AT2 Extreme

Recommended Posts

Was debating on lowering the truck but decided I like my 4x4 up there. On a 2" level right now and went with Toyo AT2 in a 295/60/20. They fit great on the stock 20's. Tiny rub at full lock on the carpet in the wheel wells. No swaybar rub.

Little more noise and way heavier tire but they change the look of the truck for sure!69713be54f16c0507ea317e574188077.jpg02510f3aa7943f5c469ad2dac76041e6.jpg2059454a93b9710078dabe4f4274e0d5.jpga61d6424c87c2a4cdfeb3e202d7969c8.jpg

Surprised they fit with minimal rubbing. My 295/60 Nitto G2's rub slightly and I'm lifted 5". I do have lift spindles and +12 wheels, a little wider than stock.

I really wanted the Toyo's, but got a great deal on the Nitto's.

Oh yeah, WE NEED PICS!!!

I hope you have better luck with those tires than I did! I really disliked them in wet/snow conditions.

They look killer, just didn't perform as i had hoped.

I hope so too. That is contrary to most everything I've read about them. They do have a 500 mile satisfaction guarantee but not sure how that works.

I'm a self proclaimed tire freak and they did seem to have it all with the tread blocks, siping, tread compound and wear, etc. Have to say the duratrac's are louder, but amazing in snow (which is very important living in Mid-Michigan). Not ragging on them, rather a previous owners experience.

Good luck with them!

How you liking the tires and size of them? Trying to decide between those and the 285/65/20s and the 275/65/20s with the 2.5 RC Leveling kit.

I just bought a 2016 gmc 1500 z-71 crew. Trying to decide between 305/55/20 and 295/60/20. Noticed ur post and i really like the way ur truck sets. Nice stance, height, and aggressive, but not overbearing. Im planning on a 2-2.5" kevel kit and looking for any other advice, pros, cons, of the 295/60s. Everybody i have talked to has said that 305/55 is the standard upgrade, but i want it to stand out a bit. Thnx
