285/70r17 Tires

Recommended Posts

Who is running these size tires?

I'm planning on getting them for a truck with a level (bilstein 5100's) to replace 265/70r17's and I wanted to know two things. 1.) Will they fit? (I've seen other guys running these but I'm not sure what sized leveling/lift they have) and 2.) If you have these size tires could I trouble you for a picture. Thanks!

Stock wheels as well.

I'm not running stock wheels but I have this size tire on +12 offset rims with a 2" level with no issues. Others on running then with stock wheels and the 2"level and they are fine.

I had the 5100's on my 08 z71 and had to do the alignment.

I have the 2" Rough Country on my '15 with 285/70/18 that are 1 inch taller than 285/70/17 and I have no issues at all.

I'm running Toyo AT2 LT285/70R17's on my 2014 Silverado dbl cab 4x4 z71. Ran them on my 2005 also. They fit great, no rubbing. When I turn the front wheels at it's closest point there is 1 inch of clearance between the the tire tread and the inner wheel well liner. My truck is stock height, no lift or level. I can't imagine you having any issues on a leveled truck. Let me know if you'd like a few more pics.

I'm running 285/70/17 Duratracs on Method NVs with a +0 offset. My truck has a 2" level and 1.5" body lift. No rubbing that I can tell.
