Figured it was about time to get with the program and do a build thread, so here goes!

This is what the truck looked like when I got it. I don't have any pics with the factory 20's, sorry.

The day after I took it home I ordered a Thunderstruck front end replacement. It's the first thing anyone notices about the truck. It's saved me some money and has given me peace of mind driving country roads and 2-lanes. Also put on mudflaps, I drive a lot of dirt roads and the paint gets trashed without them.

Approaching 100k, the factory shocks weren't quite what I wanted so I got a set of Bilstien 5100's. The ride is very controlled, and they look awesome.

Also bought some GMC 17's, the Chevy 17's collected lots of dust in the hubcaps, the Chevy hubcaps are commonly stolen, and the GMC wheels look a lot better to me.

I wanted to monitor my transmission temp and other info accurately so I picked up a scanguage, it was cheap and it does a great job.

Also got WeatherTech front and Husky rear floor liners. Eventually I got a 22"x5"x11" Magnaflow in the factory location. It's not too loud, not too quiet, and gives off no drone. Perfect sound for me.

I added an iSimple PXDP iPod interface. It mounts inside the dash and allows full control and charging of your Crapple device through the stock radio. Very convenient. You can sort of see where I routed the wire through the dash cubby. Hardest part of the install was plugging the radio back in.

The 4 ply Goodyears that came on the truck had a lot of issues with flats. One had 5 different patches when they were done. The mud performance wasn't very inspiring either.

I was tired of paying to fix flats, so I went with Cooper Discoverer ATP's in a 265/70/17 10 ply. No flats since I've had them (knock on wood) and the ride is great.

No pics of these, but I didn't like how much room the factory air intake tube took up, so I bought an AirAid MIT tube from Black Bear. It looks much cleaner under the hood. Also got a Black Bear AutoCal tune. PROBABLY THE BEST UPGRADE I HAVE DONE. I love the way the truck drives now.

I got tired of the factory DRL's and missed the look of "double wide" running lights/blinkers so I switched the DRL's to be an additional one. I really like it this way.

I put on EBC green stuff front brake pads. Whisper quiet, great stopping power, but THEY ARE DIRTY. Lots of brake dust.

Most recently, I plastidipped the grille and bowtie, I thought it would look better than the chrome and go with the bumper more. Excuse the mess. It came out pretty good.

That's all I can think of right now. I like the way this truck runs and drives, I'm not going to get rid of it for a long time. Currently around 108k on it.

^^^^this guy lol

Nice rig!

Thanks man! I'm excited to see everything that's in the works for yours!

It's hard now lol, everything I need to make more HP costs me 5 digits LOL...I have a budget build planned now LML rods/pistons in LBZ block, 60 over injectors, modded pump. I can get rods/pistons for $150 a hole. LML rods have been proven @ 750hp now...and some guys have taken them to 900+ with multiple pulls/passes with no explosions so... I'm gonna try it I think :)

My grammar was all good though! Dirt on the bumper is good. I forgot to mention that the bumper doubles as a leveling kit too. People add levels to avoid grounding, I added the bumper and now grounding doesn't matter.

If I get bored this winter I may try and mount up the GoPro to take an exhaust vid. Lots of people ask about it so I figure it's worth a shot.
